Is there any tool that allows users to view and append to a Visual FoxPro 8
table without using Visual FoxPro 8?

Thanks,

CM

CM,
I don't believe any of the xBase tools will work with features that are explicitly associated with VFP 8.0/9.0. You could create an application that use the latest VFP OLE DB provider, and this could be written in your language of choice. Or you could write a simple VFP 8.0 app that handles all the details you require, howver it will mean installing the VFP 8.0 runtimes.

Bill,
I used to use that utility, but they always took 6 months or longer to incorporate the new features of the latest version of VFP, so I stopped using / recomending it. I guess I'll have to check out the most recent version.
