Hi,

I'm try to copy a general field from a table to another with a simple
replace with, but I can't do it. How improve this feature?

This is one of the problems with general fields, and one reason most of us
recommend finding ANY other way to store your data. Once an object goes in,
there's no native way to get it out (i.e. for copying).

The thing is, Fox doesn't actually "own" that data. It just rents space to
whatever OLE server "owns" the data. To display it, Fox turns screen real
estate over to the OLE server.
